飛機上check in意思是指辦理登記手續(xù)的意思。飛機上的check-in, 表示辦理乘機手續(xù)意思。
比如幫助乘客進行行李托運、機上座位預定，打印登機牌；辦理過程中需要客人出示的有效證件。（包括身份證、護照、軍官證、士兵證、臨時身份證等）

登機牌（boarding pass/boarding card）是機場為乘坐航班的乘客提供的登機憑證，乘客必須在提供有效機票和個人身份證件后才能獲得，也有人稱之為登機證或登機卡。
